I love Athletic Brewing because it met me at a very specific moment in my life. About two weeks after I quit drinking in 2019, on my way to a holiday party, I found my first can of Run Wild IPA at the Bev King in West Lebanon, NH. It looked like beer and tasted like beer! I was hooked from that moment on.

Days later, I tracked down co-founder and CEO Bill Shufelt and was fortunate enough to have a chance to invest. A year later we invested again. Since then, not only has it been quite the ride watching ABC grow from $3M to where they are today, but I’ve also come to respect the team deeply — not just for building a category-defining company, but for standing for more than just another NA brew: performance, moderation, inclusion, and craft without compromise.
